Exploring the visual representation of the Chinese word 空 [kōng] meaning empty, hollow, void, vacant, unoccupied.
Papercut Experiment
Taking frames from my p5 sketch, I combined them into a pattern, traced that onto translucent paper, and cut out the negative space between the outlines.
Book Art Experiment
I took 8 frames from my p5 sketch and cut out the negative space of each to form the pages of the book. I used translucent paper to enhance the layering effect and to mimic the animation of my initial p5 sketch.
